We are open for in-person appointments!
COVID-19 FAQs
What should I know before booking an in person session?
In order to book an in person session the following guidelines will be put in place to ensure the safety our clients, our community and our staff:
Before you arrive to your appointment you must complete your COVID-19 health screening questionnaire to ensure you are not experiencing and flu-like symptoms
Clients that are immune compromised or at significant risk of health complications arising from Covid-19 (compromised respiratory system, multiple comorbidities, been told by their medical professional they are at an increased risk of contracting Covid-19) must seek approval from an MD before attending in person
Clients who are 70 years old and above, it is advised you speak with your medical professional regarding in person care
What should I do when I arrive?
Please arrive at designated appointment time, not earlier. This will allow the previous client time to leave and your practitioner time to properly clean any used equipment
If you are unsure if it is your time to enter, please try the door, if it is locked please knock and someone will come and get you when they are ready!
Upon entering clients will proceed to put personal items in a designated area and use hand sanitizer/wash hands
At SET we are engaging in careful social contact, for now this means we will be greeting you with smiles and hopefully getting back to high fives and handshakes soon!
Masks are required in common spaces. When you enter the clinic we ask that you please wear your mask.
Ideally clients will be solo, however if the situation requires another person attend (support person, translator, assist client comfort, minor) they must also follow the above guidelines
Will sessions be any different than previous?
Wherever possible and appropriate, sessions will involve reduced contact. This may involve more movement cuing, stretch, use of instruments, and specific exercises with fewer manual therapy techniques
When contact does need to be made, we will wash/sanitize our hands prior to making contact Gloves and masks are also available
What other steps have been taken to ensure reduced transmission risk?
